NATHANIEL TJAHJONO
OVERVIEW
Fourth-year Ph.D. student Nathaniel Tjahjono works in Schmidtke’s Lab under the guidance of Dr. David Schmidtke. His research focuses primarily on Corneal wound healing through the use of microfluidics, protein patterning, cell biology, and various microscopy techniques. Nathaniel received his B.S. And M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at UT Dallas in the Spring of 2021 and 2024 respectively. Over the course of his graduate research and studies, he has engaged in various mentorship opportunities and roles and continues to look for ways to increase accessibility and exposure to the research going on at UT Dallas and beyond
