  • We have grown to become the 4th largest undergraduate program in the nation with an enrollment over 600.
  • Research expenditures topped $17M in 2019.
  • Our graduate programs include over 120 MS and PhD seeking students.
  • We are the #3 ranked biomedical engineering program among Texas public universities.

As we look to the next decade, the Department of Bioengineering remains committed to engaging in globally relevant work, improving lives and training tomorrow’s biomedical engineers to take on the next challenges.
