Sumedha Guha
OVERVIEW
First-year Ph.D. Student Sumedha Guha works in the Biomaterials for Osseointegration and Novel Engineering (BONE) Lab under the guidance of Dr. Danieli Rodrigues. Her research focuses on improving implant healing in rats through novel surface modification techniques to address adverse immune responses in diabetic patients.
Before pursuing a PhD at UTD, Sumedha completed her BS in Biotechnology Engineering at Techno India University in 2022. Outside of academia, Sumedha enjoys lifting weights, powerlifting, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
