His research focuses on decoding the physical hallmarks of breast cancer progression. Adil’s research aims to develop innovative tools to map the mechanical properties of cancer cell environments and correlate them with the cancer’s altered metabolic signatures.
Adil received his B.E. at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani in India, where he studied mechanical Engineering. Khan is a former DAAD-WISE scholar and is currently a Jonsson Family Fellow. During his graduate studies, Adil holds a leadership role in the UTD Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Assembly., where he served as treasurer.
