Q: I am a current (UT Dallas or UT Southwestern) graduate student. How to I enroll in the joint graduate program?
A: If you are an enrolled UT Dallas, or UT Southwestern graduate student, you are automatically enrolled as the university programs as a whole are “joint”. No action is needed to enroll in the program, only individual courses.

Q: Can I switch home institutions?
A: No

Q: I am a graduate student enrolled at UT Dallas. What is my “home institution”?
A: UT Dallas.

Q: I am a graduate student enrolled at UT Dallas. My graduate advisor says that the course I would like to concurrently enroll in at UT Southwestern will fit into my degree plan, and I have just completed a concurrent enrollment form. How do I pay for this course at UT Southwestern?
A: You will receive a single bill for courses at both institutions from your home institution only.

Q: I am a graduate student enrolled at UT Dallas. My graduate advisor says that the course I would like to concurrently enroll in at UT Southwestern will fit into my degree plan, and I have just completed a concurrent enrollment form. Is there transportation arranged by UT Dallas to UT Southwestern for my class?
A: Not at this point in time. However, in the future if the number of UT Dallas students is large enough, transportation to UT Southwestern from UT Dallas may be arranged by the department.

Q: I’m a UT Southwestern student, and I have just received my grades from my home institution, but have not yet received my grade for the class I took at UT Dallas during the same semester. How long will it take for me to receive my grade from UT Dallas?
A: Grades from the universities in the joint program other than your home institution may be available to you late, as your home institution must receive the grades from the other institution before your home institution can provide you with those grades. Please contact your home institution Registrar’s Office for the status of your grades from the other institutions within the joint program.
