Joint Program

A concurrent enrollment agreement is in place between The University of Texas at Dallas and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. This agreement allows any student enrolled concurrently between these institutions to receive a waiver of certain fees per Texas Education Code 54.011. Students must be enrolled in at least one semester credit hour at their home institution to be considered concurrently enrolled. Students must apply for concurrent enrollment with submission of a form through their graduate advisor.

No additional admittance or enrollment at UT Dallas or UT Southwestern is required to take graduate bioengineering courses at those universities if you are enrolled as a graduate student at one of the universities; only a concurrent enrollment form is needed.
