Overview

Previously, Dr. Joe Pacheco was a member of the technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (2004-2013) in the Advanced Capabilities and Systems Group. In 2014, he joined the faculty at the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently a senior lecturer in the Bioengineering Department.

Research Interests

Dr. Pacheco’s current research interests include signal processing and machine learning for physiological monitoring. While at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, he worked in the areas of radar systems analysis, electromagnetic propagation and scattering, antenna design and testing, adaptive signal processing, and microwave imaging with applications primarily related to airborne and ground-based radar systems.
